About Me

Kevin Thomason is from Memphis, Tennessee and has lived and taught in Canada and South Korea. His work can be read in Narrative Magazine, Arkansas Review, Southern Poetry Review, and elsewhere. His poem, “Black-and-White Photograph of a Relative” was featured online by The Best American Poetry. He’s also written work on commission for corporate design projects. He currently teaches at McNeese State University and travels back and forth between Lake Charles and Memphis, where his wife, Deborah Elam, works as a graphic designer. His first collection of poems will be out next year with Cornerstone Press.
